At TC Tech Systems (formerly Telephone Connection) we strive to be up-to-date with technology in order to deliver the finest service to you. We were recently awarded a large bid with an organization called Foundation Communities. We are going to be installing a micro-duct in preparation for Google Fiber, which is going to be deployed in a new affordable housing project in downtown Austin. This housing project is sponsored by Foundation Communities and will be the first affordable housing project in downtown Austin in over 40 years!
The special material that we will be installing for that project, called a micro-duct, is a conduit, a duct, that will go from the central wiring closet to each of the units. This is a very high-tech, exciting project for us and we can’t wait to begin implementing it elsewhere.
